Cooking time: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg of baby potatoes
- 3 TBSP of fine brown sugar
- 2 TBSP of butter or margarine
- 1-2 TBSP of water if needed
INSTRUCTIONS
- Boil and peel the potatoes for 20 minutes. Leave to cool off completely before moving to next step.
- In a large frying pan, cook the sugar on moderate heat until completely melted.
- When melted, add the butter and stir until the two are combined into a syrup.
- Add the potatoes, and a little bit of water to the mixture. Don't worry if the mixture starts to stick and turn hard, just turn up the heat and it will melt again.
- Make sure the potatoes are completely covered continuing to cook for about 8-10 minutes or until nicely browned.
